Love, Wealth and Success

A woman came out of her house and saw three old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said, "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat." "Is the man of the house home?" they asked. "No", she said. "He's out." "Then we cannot come in", they replied. In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. "Go tell them I am home and invite them in," he said. The woman went out and invited the men in. "We do not go into a house together," they replied. "Why is that?" she wanted to know. One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home." The woman went

NO PROBLEM

Don’t worry if you have problems! Which is easy to say a times until you are in the midst of a really big one, I know. But the only people I am aware of who don’t have troubles are gathered in little neighborhoods. Most communities have at least one. We call them cemeteries. If you are breathing, you have difficulties. It is the way of life. And believe it or not, most of your problems may be good for you! Oh! Let me explain. A Biology teacher was teaching his students how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. He told them that in the next couple of hours, the caterpillar would struggle to come out of the cocoon, but no one should help the caterpillar out. Then he left to answer the principal’s call. The students were waiting and it happened. The caterpillar struggled to get out of the cocoon and against the teacher’s instruction; one of the students took pity on it and decided to help, he broke the cocoon so it didn’t struggle anymore. But shortly afterwards, the butterfly died.

SHAKE THE BRIDGE!

Long time ago in the animal kingdom, there lived the tiger and the rat among others. The tiger was fond of making jest of the rat; telling him that he would never be able to shake the metal bridge which spans across the kingdom. This humiliation went on as the day goes by. One day, the rat got fed up and decided to prove the tiger wrong. He put up a challenge with the tiger that he the rat was going to shake the bridge in the presence of others including the king; lion. For some hours, the rat stood till by the bridge and never moved. Everyone wondered why he did that, but alas, comes the elephant walking towards the bridge and immediately, the rat walked along; taking steps with the elephant. And as both walked on the bridge, the bridge was shaking, in fact, rocking. Then the rat looked at the elephant into his eyes and with a smile he said; ‘oh man, we are shaking the bridge!’ We are like the rat and our creator is like the elephant. There are certain things we can’t do unless we w

DISCOVERING YOUR POTENTIALS

On the road to success, you need to understand basic things in order to achieve your set goals. A vital part of your success is discovering your potentials. A nation going to war has to count the cost of the war. If the arsenal of the country does not possess the weapons of warfare, the exercise could be a hollow ritual. In your own life, you have to discover your potentials. Potentials are those natural gifts of yours that can be developed. In order for us to discover our potentials and fully maximize them, we need to ask ourselves these questions: What are the things I do with less effort? What are the things that excite me? What are the things that make me feel agitated? What do I love to do for the rest of my life, even if I am not paid a kobo? What talent or abilities do my friends commend me for? What, am I willing to give a 100 percent dedication to? How do I like to work? Alone, with people or computers? Do I enjoy sitting in a place for long, or I like moving aroun

BE THE BEST

Why do some people succeed and others fail? Why will one person seem to go from one level of success to another while another experiences an unending failure? It’s amazing to see two people growing up; one flying up to the peak and the other dragging in the pit. You will want to say life is not fair, yes I know but one thing I want you to know is that you can consciously determine your own lot; although you can’t alter your fate (what happens to you) you can determine your destiny (how your life goes). So, let me show you how to. A young man was once opportune to meet a successful business man after a television interview. The young man asked; sir, how can I become successful in my own endeavours? ‘Be Good’ the successful business man simply replied. The young man looked down and thought a while, then broke the silence as he said, ‘sir, I think I’m very good at what I do.’ On hearing this, the financial icon said, ‘Get Better.’ To this the young man thanked the financial icon, turned

FOUR STEPS TO GREATNESS

1. Plan Purposely: You might at first find it very difficult to agree with me on this, but the fact is; ‘we all plan’ yeah, we all do even those who failed only planned to fail (I mean they only had plans that could not cause them to succeed but to fail). Believe me, “when the purpose of a journey is not well defined, then disaster becomes an inevitable destination.” Therefore, the first step necessary to champion a cause and achieve greatness is not to plan but to plan purposely. Be deliberate on what you really want in life, be purposeful when you plan (plan with the end; the Big Picture in mind). Then move on to the next step. 2. Prepare Prayerfully: There comes a time in everyone’s life when we turn to our creator for help. This is the moment in our lives when divinity meets humanity and the result is usually ‘Oh So Sweet!' 3. Proceed Positively: To attain greatness and champion a cause, you need to get rid of the word ‘impossibility.’ Always believe that failure is just th
